March 1 2009- It has
already been decided that this year is going to be un-real.
We will stock MORBID props for sale right at the haunt site as well as
have a haunt that will be DOUBLE the space as last year. Of course
at this eerily soon date there is no location set. But unlike last
year it will be planed for the house and then move if something comes
available.

March 22 2009- Back again for
an update. It has been decided that this haunt will have live
actors unlike the past haunts so if YOU want to be that guy with the
guts in hand and like to scare drop me a note if you are going to be or

28 2009- THE STORY IS WRITTEN:
DEEP BACK IN THE SWAPS OF THE
SOUTH THERE LIVED A DEFORMED MAN.
HE WOULD LURE HIS VICTIMS DOWN TO HIS HOME WITH SWEET
TALKING AND THE PROMISE OF GREAT THINGS.
EXCEPT WHEN THEY ENTERED THE HOME THEY WOULD FIND THEMSELVES STUCK TO
MOVING CHANGES THAT WOULD ENTRAP THEM..
HE WOULD DRAG THEM INTO THE BUTCHER SHOP AND REMOVE SOME LIMES AND HANG
THEM FROM THE CEILING. LEAVING THE REST OF THERE BODIES HANGING FROM THE
CENTER HALLWAY CEILING. EXCEPT SOME WERE STILL ALIVE AND YOU COULD HEAR
THERE SCREAMS FROM THE STREET..
HOWEVER: The worst of it all was the graveyard we kept in the swamp
behind his house for years with the rotting victims that were suppose to
stay dead after they were buried there...
COME TAKE A TOUR OF THE SITE WHERE THESE ATROCITIES TOOK PLACE,
AND MAYBE MEET A VICTIM OR TWO ON YOUR JOURNEY
OF THE COTTAGE AND THE SWAMP OF THE WALKING DEAD..
September 18 2009- We have started a few
weeks ago on the build out for the haunt.. So far we have the metal
shack completely built and now we are working on the
pathways and interiors. It looks like for the first year we
are ahead of schedule, I guess it pays to start very early. It
looks like we will be moving to the outside swamp area October 1st just
as we planned , I do hope we do not have wind problems and such..
only time will tell. This year unlike the last two years we
will be bring out and using ALL the props in the storage closet..

September 23 2009- We have set the hours of operation
for now.. Saturday from DARK
until 11:00pm. That is it so be sure to come by that
night...
On another note the Haunt interior set is almost
done then we can proceed to the extra tent exterior.
October 6th 2009- We now have the inside about done
and are now working on the outside now.. We have the closed in swamp
room built and ready for the finishing touches. We have swamp
grass- frogs- water- and swamp fog all ready to go.. We just have to
wait for the path to dry (brick and morter) because we needed something
raised about the swamp water.. WE have finished designing
the AUDIO tracks which are all new for this year and will not have the
movie theme track.. I have been told that so far it is ultra
spooky, So we will just have to wait and see.. Check our
youtube page for a walkthrough video (minus the screams) to see what we
have to offer up to the HALLOWEEN GOBLIN this year..
October 16th 2009- Finished GraveSwamp and added
picture page now cleaning up the haunt and removing any extra stuff to
do a video shoot for YOUTUBE. Will be static so we do not give
away any good scares. Look for it in a few days here!!
OCTOBER 26th 2009- Well a not so good video is
on U-Tube to show just the basic path of this yeas haunt.. Almost
as long if not longer than the Westside scare for charity in 2007.
Now for the unhappy news, Due to a few activities at my sons school we
will only be open for the public on Saturday (HALLOWEEN NIGHT) from 7
till 11:00 or later according to traffic..
I AM STILL LOOKING FOR
SOME PEOPLE THAT WOULD LIKE TO SCARE!!
If you show up with a costume and
a current Florida DL I will probably not turn you away...
OKAY I guess that is it for this year we are done and
ready early this year .. I will be waiting to see you scream in a
few days now..
This will be my last update until closing statements
after the haunt is completed.. It has been said that we will
go to a bigger enclosed location next year if we get over a certain
number of people this year..
OCTOBER 31st 2009- So it is here now the day, the
date, all we have to do is SCARE! BUT, So far it is going to me
inside and my good neighbor working the door. The scene is
set the sounds the look the video system. YA, we will have live
video over the internet this time around. I do not know if this
will be good or bad I will have to wait and see. It is almost time
to start the carnage of souls ... HAPPY HALLOWEEEeeeen
FINAL NOTES: The haunt went well,
everything worked as it should have however there were not as many
people working the haunt as there should have been. There is
one thing that foot switches and sensors can do, That is activate the
prop. What you really need to do though is scare the guest which
is not an on of f thing. SO what went wrong NOTHING, except
the lack of live scare. There were 4 scare spots but only one
person... I think if we had four people in there it would have
been beyond a 100% scare factor.. Will I do this next year?
NOT TO THIS EXISTENT, It took a long time to build and will take
at least two weeks to remove. If I ever build something to this
extent again it will be for a large 1 week open period not just one
day... YES, I did use all my props but there was to much, So much
that you did not have any suspense time which you need for a really
scary Haunt.
